There are no trees is the best. Either flavor of the first video is amazing, it's either a russian man berating you about believing the things you see are TREES or a midwestern grandma repeating his words but without any actual hostility.

The “trees” you’re seeing aren’t real trees, they’re just shrubs. The real trees are the mountains and mesas you see, even though they have absolutely no resemblance to fossilized plants of any kind. You see, the biblical giants cut them all down right after the earth was made five thousand years ago.

The folding ideas video really emphasizes the fact that a unifying thread of so many of these conspiracy theories is the need to connect everything to bizarre American evangelical interpretations of biblical stories.

Shrubberies, as explained in the post above yours. It's not that the things you call trees don't exist. It's that all the mountains that 'prove' the billions of years age of the earth aren't mountains, they're tree stumps.

Right now the republican party is in a crisis. They looked at Trumps 90%+ approval ratings among republicans and have mostly subsumed themselves in being the party of 'Trump'. Our agenda is Trumps agenda!

Except that Trump's agenda is full of crazed anti-government conspiracies that undermine their own positions of power. One toe out of line, one statement that doesn't match up with the hidden agenda put forth on 8kun, and they get hammered for impurity. For being secret socialists, pedo's and child murderers.

It's one thing if you are a Democrat and they make all kinds of crazy accusations, it's expected and mostly does no harm. If you are a Republican and you aren't seen to be 'Working toward Trump' enough you could have a world of trouble. Jeff Session rightfully recused himself from the Mueller Investigation and his long career in politics is over. This is likely going to get worse as reality and the Qanon base get further apart. As we speak, alt-right activists are demanding state GOP representatives just disobey the law and give the election to Trump under threats of tearing apart the party and physical harm or death.

Fox News seems to be in a similar position as seen by the Pizzagate v Tucker drama unfolding. The Fox News personalities don't believe the non-sense they spew, for them it's just a question of ratings and money. Hannity has reportedly earned worth hundreds of millions for his nonsense. Tucker is (in)famous for defending himself in court with, "No rational person believes the crap I say" and winning. But, here they are watching in real time as a new Nazi movement unfolds in America complete with systemic racism and violent brown shirted fascist groups all amplified and empowered by their own dishonest reporting pontificating.

I have a feeling that getting Trump out of the white house is going to set off some unstable chain reactions and that we don't know where it's going to end up.

It's a pretty straight forward thesis - just because a coup fails to seize control of the government doesn't mean it doesn't cause significant damage to the fabric of society. The Sri Lankan coup was stupid and failed, but its supporters didn't magically disappear or suddenly regain faith in society. They became violent (edit: probably more accurate to say were already violent, but yknow, point is they don't go away and people respond to violence with violence). The idea that democracy ritualizes away a lot of otherwise physical political violence, and so when belief in it is eroded people return to real violence, isn't a new one.

"This year America had fascism on the ballot and nonwhite people mercifully said no. The fascists, however, are now saying gently caress ballots. And enough of the population is like gently caress yeah!

This is a major problem, and it won’t just go away on a technicality. I’m telling you, as someone that’s been there, you’ve already lost. It doesn’t matter if you get Trump out. He and the Republican Party are destroying trust in elections in general. This is catastrophic. You have no idea."

Good. I hope this is what it takes to cause the whole of the broken electoral system to come crashing down, from the private financing, to the "electing electors", to the aspirant dynastic legacies of Kennedys, Clintons, Udalls, Bushes, and Trumps alike.

Respectfully asking for election reform has failed spectacularly. You can only ignore the alarm for so long before the pressure in the pipe causes it to burst. Any system that allows fascism to come to power must, at the earliest opportunity, be dismantled and built over.

That is true and also worrying. I know several people who I previously would have described as intelligent, who now traffic in unadorned and ludicrous conspiracy theories. The greatest threat is that when the people in power call the democratic process into question themselves they undermine it in the eyes of their supporters and opponents some of whom will then take direct violent action.

Trumps been on about election fraud for months already and blood has and will be spilled because of it. How far it goes remains to be seen but the damage to peoples faith in democracy is already done.

I have unfortunately heard it before. It's quite an old conspiracy theory, so of course it's now part of Q.

:tinfoil: ahead:

quote:

Have you heard about Trofim Lyssenko? He was the inventor of pseudoscience or really bad, fake science around 1930! Stalin loved him. Ever heard about Stalin? He was in charge of the Socialist/Communist Paradise (sic) in the Sovietunion 1924 - 1953. A very competent mass murderer that together with Hitler, an incompetent madman, started WW2 by attacking east Poland and Finland 1939 and the Baltic states 1940 and who US president Roosevelt liked a lot. Stalin could keep east Poland, a part of Finland and the Baltic states after WW2. Ever heard about US president Roosevelt, FDR? He was quite competent and created the fake atomic bomb under great, military secrecy 1942/5! With a plenty help from friends. FDR had 1942 asked his secretary of war and destruction, Henry Lewis Stimson, to secretly build nuclear weapons. FDR died April 1945 and was replaced by Harry Truman. And in July Stimson could inform Truman that two a-bombs were ready to be dropped on Japan August 1945, where the war was still on. USA had just lost plenty soldiers - >100 000 killed and injured - invading small islands like Iwo Jima February and Okinawa little later.

Atomic bombs were and are however just propaganda lies and bad science. There is no evidence that they worked in war 1945 or in peace later. The atomic bombs were invented by an American Robert O Lyssenko - a cousin of Trofim - but assisted by A. Einstein and encouraged by Roosevelt and Stalin!

No atomic bombs ever exploded over Hiroshima and Nagasaki August 1945. News about 100.000's of Japanese being vaporized in nanoseconds FLASHes and disappearing in thin air or slowly being killed by nuclear radiation during several months afterwards autumn 1945 at various Japanese hospitals were just Fake News and propaganda!

No scientific reports until July 1945 exists that atomic bombs were ever developed anywhere.

No legal and medical records in Japan can confirm that 100 000's of Japanese either disappeared 6-9 August 1945 due to atomic bomb attacks or the following months due to radioactive radiation. Only stupid atomic bomb museums full of lies suggest it. And of course annual memorial ceremonies in Japan.

Remember, the bigger the LIE, the least evidence is required for it. And all Japanese will just smile and agree. To avoid trouble, of course.

USA is 2020 the greatest military force on Earth with shiny uniforms, medals, graveyards, salutes, 100.000's KIAs, MIAs, etc. And it has lost most wars since 1945 because it doesn't use atomic bombs in Korea, Vietnam, Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, etc. Do you know why?

No atomic bombs have ever exploded on planet Earth! Nuclear weapons are just bullshit to keep the world afraid! And big business. And bad science.

Two guys had the same name and the US hasn't nuked anyone since WW2 so it's all fake I guess.

e: Wait no they didn't even have the same names, Robert O Lyssenko is Robert Oppenheimer. Two people had different names so nukes fake. It's the dumbest poo poo.
