the current fan theory is that there is always one yoda in the starwars universe so when the original yoda died it created a new yoda somewhere in the universe. every time a yoda dies the new one reverses genders though so in 100 years when baby yoda hits puberty and becomes a jedi womandalorian it's going to get a modified version of the armor that was recently shown. the modification is because lady yodas have extremely large boobs that won't fit in the current form. It's just a theory though.
