Don't think BMW actually makes the electric ones on their own.

Now I'm dealing with Eisenmann which seems to have the whole crew in corona-kurzarbeit so I won't get an exhaust from them either, while the TÜV refuses to care about corona and reminds me of the hole in my current exhaust so I won't get TÜV for now. I love 2020 ee: yeah, I'm loving mad (especially since I just realized I missed the point to stock up on E31 parts... :/ ) eee: I'm basically mad because I'm stupid and BMW is stupid tuo fucked around with this message at 20:33 on Nov 19, 2020 |

I would just weld it over for the time being and then replace it with an Eisenmann unit when (if) they unfuck themselves. If EU7 goes through as the unmitigated disaster that it shapes up to be we will likely see the end of any new infernal combustion by 2025 aniways. By that time I should have accumulated enough interesting fuel to noise converters in the garage however to keep myself entertained until I die of (hopefully) old age. No, Foose got his start crashing his dad's customer's Rolls.

"but an original Mini is too tiny!" Yes, and that's why they're incredibly fun to drive. All car people need to drive a classic Mini at speed round some corners in their lives at least once to understand why these little tin cans are so beloved and why the fat turd that currently wears the name badge is poo poo in comparison.

Folks do realise that the Countryman is the big SUV/crossover MINI and that the MINI Hatch is substantially smaller right? Like the Hatch is a fair bit bigger than the original but the same goes for all cars.

They're a fair bit bigger but that's because they need volume to have crumple zones. The interior remains very cozy, or claustrophobic, depending how you look at it.

I had an 05 Mini Convertible S while I was stationed in Sardegna and that was the best thing. From the ferry landing to the airport was 45 minutes to an hour and the longest stretch of straight road was about 1/3 of a mile. Probably not as much fun as an original MINI but it was still a hoot

there has to be a logical explanation right like he got a flat but drove on it to the gas station, and that's the full-sized spare he's about to install, but he found that it was low on air as they always are right

The fact MINI or Mini - in whatever iteration from the very moment Sir Alec Issigonis penned the original design right to even the BMW iteration - have a big rear end crossover is exactly the problem here. Mini came in all sorts of configuration from the start but at no point were they big SUV shitboxes. Mini in it's orginal form did have a crossover of sorts - It was basically still on the same platform as the rest of the lineup and small. The original Countryman in fact was a longroof Classic Mini.
