Huh, kind of weird that the MST3K channel thing they just advertised also has The Film Crew since that was a Mike thing and is on Rifftrax's website.

A little less weird when you realize it was put out by Shout before they had the MST3K rights.

Also, Rifftrax sells MST3K episodes too, so these things are all mixed together.

Having the same first name as Dr. Forrester and not being used to it coming out of the TV makes the season seven episodes kind of distracting to have on in the background.

Yes, so weird! The totally legit dvd from 90s eBay I have of it has the TD segments, so it is kind of fun to see the normal ones. Like, I never noticed Pearl's mustache before.

It has been a pretty good mix today. Unfortunately, I have found really don't connect with the new eps. I have tried a few times - today included - but I just feel like they miss the spirit of the show somehow.

I really enjoyed the fair short with Joel, Bill and J. Elvis though. I would love to see more cast mash ups like that.

This one’s weird to me because it’s like a sequel to an earlier movie that doesn’t exist. I guess it was too hard to work in the part where the kid meets and makes friends with bigfoot and still have a long scene where a man hugs a bear.

It’s not so much a sequel as the filmmaker naturally thinks Bigfoot would send psychic messages of doom

When I was 17, my father was so stupid, I didn't want to be seen with him in public. When I was 24, I was amazed at how much the old man had learned in just 7 years.
An underrated part of the reboot is that I haven't seen them all like 20 times already.

It seems like they started with a shoot the parade thing going on with a bunch of movie-trained animals available and tried to work backward to find a story that would let them use footage of them all.
