This is my take. I loved the Thrawn trilogy, I loved the Kevin J Anderson one that came out after it (don't remember the name) but my favorite was the Corellian Trilogy. The planets pushed themselves around! It was so stupid! There was some really cool space battle at the end that I liked. I don't know.

I liked the Black Fleet Crisis books just for the aesthetics of the books, I didn't make it past the first one.

Just like the prequels. I had hopes TRoS would get there once palpatine clone had a planet full of star destroyers with death star guns but that somehow missed.

If the show manages to find a way to bring Thrawn into live action successfully, it may just become my favorite Star Wars thing ever, since I adored The Thrawn Trilogy when I was in junior high school. Sure they don't read very well now, but I still love that Chiss bastard.
