THS posted:all adversarial sports and competitions should be banned in favor of bringing back synchronized swimming I remember watching the old Japanese "Ninja Warrior" obstacle courses. Competitors were so friendly, and you couldn't help but cheer for every single one of them. Even though they were technically in competition with each other, they viewed the course as the adversary and it was truly adorable to watch some of the younger contestants fawn over the older vets like kids meeting a rock star.

any game you can win or lose is anticommunist, bougie propaganda teaching our children to alienate themselves and those around them watching anime will be the only sport allowed, with points awarded based on trivia remembered and ability to act like the characters. there are no losers in anime.

only the watchers are the losers. anyway sports are fun but watching sports in general is lame. unless it's soccer, which pwns. i don't understand hockey but it is also fun to watch

Whats the deal with the Peace and Freedom party? They seem good, but I’ve only just started checking them out. At the very least, Riva helped me tick a box that wasn’t for Biden. e: I tried hanging with the DSA and thought they were a bit toothless and cannibalistic during their meetings. I also went to one meeting of the fourth international when I was in school and that was a stupid poo poo show. Basically, which socialist or communist group can I support without hemorrhaging my time to assholes? How! fucked around with this message at 05:37 on Nov 27, 2020 |

why would you retract a doxxing because someone was dead. yeah, it may cause distress in a the wider family, but so does getting someone fired, arrested, or just beat up.

eh I can sort of see an argument for taking it down. now that they’re dead it does nothing except possibly upset the family, so why fight them on it if they ask

What makes Trotskyist groups so pervasive in the Anglo left. All of these tiny rear end groups seem to be completely ineffectual yet manage to last decades. They're basically the tardigrades of the left. Edit: It's not covert state funding is it?...

They're basically the tardigrades of the left. There's a certain appeal in a left tendency that distinguishes itself specifically apart from whatever value judgement is laid down against the USSR, or the PRC, or more bluntly, the so-called excesses of "Stalinism" and Maoism. This is not to say that this is the only reason people pick it up, but it's similar to "Democratic Socialism" and "Libertarian Socialism" in the sense that it allows one to be a leftist, but a leftist that hopefully has a credible defense against being accused of supporting genocide.

It's the result of direct (funding, infiltration) and indirect (media control and propaganda) methods to cultivate an "anti-communist left" that's compatible with US/European imperialism and white supremacy
