I get that the league doesn't want to postpone everything for one team fuckup, but it should have been clear that after Thanksgiving and Christmas there would be surges in infection and they should be prepared to pause the season. If they go through with games and practices this week they're going to make this worse.

He almost certainly can't even call plays through no fault of his own, there's no game plan for him to be the guy, there's nothing. So of course the Saints will randomly make it close somehow.

They had an outbreak despite following league protocols. Broncos didnt and now the team is DEFINITELY going to get hosed. Sort of like what happened with the raiders when they had to play with a practice squad o-line because the players didn't follow league protocols around mask wearing inside the facility.
