If they win any of the other 3, they're guaranteed in the playoffs. They have zero shot of hosting a playoff game, so all they care about is getting in and being at least the 6th seed so they don't have to play the Steelers or Chiefs in the WC round . The scariest scenario is ending up needing to win against the Steelers to get in while they need it to go 16-0. In which case, Browns trauma.txt requires them to lose by 50.

Patriots (5-6) schedule: @Chargers, @Rams, @Dolphins, Bills, Jets So looking at the currently in the playoffs teams, the Dolphins have the hardest road, with only the Bengals being a gimme. They've probably got the most to lose with either the Ravens or Raiders unfucking their situation. The Colts have the Texans twice and the Jaguars, so have a much, much easier road to 10 wins. Ravens also have 3 easy games to end the season, but are currently ravaged by plague. They need to win one of the other 3 games and sweep those. Raiders just lost one of their two gimmes, and got loving ruined. They need to win 4 of 5. Patriots basically can't lose a game or they're out.

Very dumb person question: Why is the covid protocol based on 1 test per day limits (or seemingly so)? Wouldn't it make more sense to have a player who is presumed positive submit 4 or 5 rapid tests to be processed in one batch? This would make a false-positive or false-negative much easier to spot much more quickly, which you could then confirm with a parallel PCR test. I just don't understand why they do this thing of "Player is positive today, but tomorrow they test negative -- whoops, false positive".
