No rockstar doer.  Outside the beginner roll, I haven't gotten characters or 4 star weapons from natural rolls. If there was no pity mechanic I'd have nothing to show for. A decisive indictment if any to keep playing while there's some fun left and only if. e: anyone made the signature dishes of the new characters? The description of food is delightful. Which would be better: Solar Pearl for Klee currently using R4 Widsith and 31% crit chance / 121% crit damage or Serpent Spine for Beidou using Rainslasher with 24% crit rate / 98% crit damage? Leaning more towards SS for Beidou since I like Widsith's mechanics but Klee's undeniably my more important dps.

I suspect this game is desperately trying to exorcise some evil spirit from me, because I got enough wishes for two more 4* pulls and while the first one gave me the Bell, the other gave me yet another Chongyun.

Widsith seems awful for Klee, she's greedy and wants to be out all the time. Spine is definitely a big upgrade for Beidou but at least Rainslasher does stuff for her

I guess if you are using her in that role, then it'd be good for her. Could also just give her a Prototype Aminus, of course.

I spent $10 bucks on the battle pass gnostic hymn and got the black sword. Is it worth doing again? You don’t get a lot of wishes out of it and the other weapons don’t look fantastic.

All the weapons are solid because crit is an overpowered substat. So even ignoring Serpent Spine's text entirely it's better than aminus for damage units. So you're advised to pick the one you need.

I finally got popsicle boy! Time to immediately dump time and resource into him because I never learn my lesson. Can I just slap an already upgraded set of Gladiator's artifacts on him and call it a day? I know ideally he wants a Cryo Damage artifact but I've yet to find one.

You should get a consumable or something if you have a maxed friendship character while doing commissions. Or MC in your party for that matter, who doesn't even have a friendship xp bar. It seems like Zhongli is Utility Man, which is why people maybe don't like him. He doesn't make the numbers go up as well, but he provides a lot of really useful tools for a single character. The stele, the shield + geo drain, and the meteor all seem amazingly handy. As someone with Noelle in the team because I like not dying, I'm kinda leaning towards pulling for Zhongli just for the amazing upgrade. Still not 100% decided, but I'm leaning strongly towards it.

My Chongyun now has Sacrificial Greatsword and exile's set, so if the sac sword procs i get a full ult bar off the double E. It made me wonder who has the lowest ult cooldown? I feel like you could do some silly stuff with a party built for rotating ults with stuff like exiles and noblesse.

So yeah, for anyone wanting to farm for Witch artifacts the requirement is Chong. You get Chong, ascend him to at least one WL below you, some ok artifacts, and this is how you get fire gear. :mihoyo: I also just realized I now have Team gently caress Oceanid. I need to get on ascending XQ... With that sorted, I'm looking for a fourth for Team Razor. Without Qiqi it's definitely Razor/Kaeya/Diona... but I'm struggling to think of a fourth that'd add anything because I don't have Bennet. I guess Fischl for the bonus electric reaction damage?

The level 90 noblesse domain is loving me up. It's frankly embarrassing how bad I apparently am at fighting these abyss mages once they come with extra effects. I've tried a bunch of teams and prioritising different mages, but I always end up getting careless once a shield is down and getting 100-0d. At least there's some challenge, but it sucks having to res/heal the team up after every failure. Eventually Diluc or Keqing will carry me through this, but until then I'm just going to complain a bit.

Focus on getting both shields down first if you can, then go to town on one for a bit. It's way easier when one of them isn't still horking their bullshit ice clouds at you. Also consider a geo unit for shields to trivialize those ice clouds.
