Also yeah as I mentioned, Melting Love's look can't be truly appreciated until you see the form it takes when breaching. Which much like Ppodae going from cute little dog to large murder dog is suitably different as to be actually monstrous.

Love looks like she does to draw you in and spread the infection. Only once it feels confidant in having an army to overwhelm opposition does it decide to turn into a battle form to commence the breakout. Although it does raise a most interesting question: Is Melting Loves breaching form its “true” form, or just one it takes temporarily that is better designed for combat? Thus conversely, is Melting Love in its containment just a honey/strawberry trap, a lure to draw you in and let down your guard, or could it actually be its true form?

I doubt Melting Love has a "true form". It's just goop. It looks friendly and demure in containment to encourage attachment and it changes to something more dangerous for its breakout attempt. If it was totally at rest with no objective it'd probably just be a lump of goo.

Oh, one more thing: I went and got a bit ahead of the thread for the purposes of doing day 40. I thought it’d take a good number of tries, so I wanted to have a 2 week buffer or so to give myself time. As for how that’s going: I uh, did it first try.  So I’ve recorded through day 41: story for right now, meaning all we’re waiting on is me to write everything.

I don’t think there’s anything too terrible design-wise about Melting Love. If everything was designed like that, then yeah, might be a bit iffy, but it’s not. One waifu style character isn’t bad, especially when it turns out that it’s literally a ploy to infect the facility and the actual (?) form is suitably monstrous. Honestly, it’s not all that different from Laetitia except that she uses being cute for her mischief and Melting Love uses being attractive. As far as difficulty, I’d agree that it’s hard for a new player. It’s hard to imagine a no-death first contact since you wouldn’t know that the heart spreads. After seeing it spread once, you might seclude the agent, but you’re down minimum one employee and even after seclusion you could lose the dice roll on the QC counter and lose the handler too. And of course this is a best case, whereas it could also wipe your entire facility if you don’t figure it out.

My first full playthrough took about 110-120 hours from start to credits, if I remember right? So reading into what Binah was saying, the Extraction department contains 'coffins' of people, possibly in some sort of statsis, being injected with cogito to extract abnormalities and their equipment? At least, that appears to be what's going on. Do not look directly at the equipment when in use.

If you think about it, the choice of people to be turned into Sephiroth and put in control of the facility is strange. Malkuth' only achievement was in stealing experimental drug and dying to it. Hod is some researcher of no importance who called assault team on us, Netzach is some guy we tricked into being a lab rat. Only Yesod is somewhat competent. 3:1 From the Middle Layer we have two literal kids, Chesed, who is probably does the same job he did earlier, and Gebura, who is continuing doing essentially the same. 2:2 Lower Layers have a hostile force from outside who in no way find a way to subvert whatever programming A put to ensure compliance and nothing bad would happen because of it and Hokma, who is mysterious, but, I assume, knows what he is doing. 1:1 More than half of Sephiroth are made from people who shouldn't be put in control.

Even though A didn't have any sort of familial feelings for Lisa and Enoch, Carmen clearly did, and I suspect the 'resurrection' of Tipereth was at least subconsciously A trying to connect with the emotions of the deceased Carmen. Poorly and weirdly, because he's a mess.
