Could someone point me to cyberpunk lit or media that is decidedly socialistic in its resolution or at least resistance of the cyberhell? Gettin real tired of these shows and games that just present the problems of late-stage capitalism then shrug it away.

Altered Carbon trilogy. the protagonist is an anti-corporate antihero, with socialist revolutionary friends. it was published 2002-2005. the author has since developed brainworms and become pro-trump and pro-brexit, but death of the author and all.

The light pollution is awful and it seems like they're using more power than necessary.

endlessmonotony posted:How much more would it cost to add basically venetian blinds made out of reflective foil on top of the greenhouses anyway? the lights are probably already in reflectors. we see the same thing in ontario with legal cannabis grow operations (although its standard warm white light). it would likely cost more in materials and labour (because you'd want to completely remove obstructions between the plants and sunlight during the day) than you'd ever get back in savings on fewer lights / less power. the biggest issue with this imo is the effect it might have on wildlife.
