Keep at it.
My package should be arriving on Wednesday and I think I forgot to include my forums name on it so when my santee posts I'll let you know.

Speaking of secret santa... today I received a package.

You can already tell from the packaging that it is from a man of good taste and sensibility.

Good taste CONFIRMED. :hellyeah:

I was really excited so I didn't take as many pictures as I should have.

There are three (!) hot sauces and they all look great. I can't think of a higher compliment than that I'm now planning meals this week around hot sauce. And two ciders which look both delicious and interesting. I really enjoy alaskan brewing's winter ale which has spruce tips in it so I'm really looking forward to trying ginger and fir tips and I love all things spicy so I already know habanero cider will be good.

Last, but certainly not least, this wood has traveled through three different centuries before finally ending up in this, its final and most beautiful form.

Thank you very much, Elviscat. This was awesome and made my week. When COVID is over, I'll be out your way to visit in-laws and we should go ride.

I'm not sure if it's higher, but how's "I'm now googling where I can obtain 2/3?" (2/3 because scotch bonnet is generally too much for me these days, but it does look tasty.)

Bravo, Santas, y'all are doing great jobs!

I'm really glad you liked it! Let me know how the two sauces on the right are, I love everything from Bonache, but haven't had that one, and the green one was because I couldn't find the green sauce I normally get, I went to the big local market near my GF to pick everything up.

Definitely down to ride when you make it out here.

Hot Babe is the easiest to get online for a reasonable price I think, despite the Scotch Bonnet it's very mild, lots of carrot and mustard, made right down the road from my GF's work, I've met the owners and they're really cool people, only company that makes a good Caribbean style hot sauce around here.

Fucken oath. Much better than my lovely first attempt at a litho!

:tipshat: It's an ancient machine that probably cost $20,000 in 2002 and is way out of date, but a few of us keep it running because it's pretty simple and does the job assuming the old pre-cloud licenses for Corel Draw and Illustrator can be fooled by hosts.txt edits and the like. I've done a bunch of projects over the years on it and it's interesting to play with the power/feed settings on different types of wood - It absolutely decimates soft stuff like pine on full power and you get a 1/8" deep etch, which isn't great for things like coasters or surfaces that will be used. It has an exhaust system but sometimes we still have to tape a bucket over the smoke detector in the room to keep it from calling the fire department.

Been enjoying the gifts posted so far, everyone is nailing it! Great Secret Santa slothrop, you did good. Hope you enjoy the new avatar :ninja:

The bribe arrived undamaged! I was worried that the cans wouldn't survive the trip due to adverse temperatures.
The microfibres and "snow" were my cheap solution to prevent the cans from getting damaged and minimize the mess if they did.

The Annex Brewing Kings English has become one of my favorite beers of all time. I hope they are all enjoyable.

I wonder if this is just a weird artifact of the tracking software, because mine spent a week in "Tacoma" then appeared on a truck in NY out for delivery.

Package sent! Caught the FedEx guy loading his truck at the Dropbox. Of course, I forgot to put the note inside, so it's in a stick-on "packing list" thing. Also, don't throw out the packaging, there's something wrapped in it. It's labeled, but just making sure.

An unexpected boxen has arrived from superdylan!!

This nice note made me chuckle - I guess I will have to buy a FIAT soon (sheeeeiiit). Looks like I drew a truly secret Santa, as I have never seen superdylan post before. Cool!

Dude (I will rudely assume you're a dude unless otherwise corrected), I don't think I mentioned that I love and also make hot sauce! Can't wait to try this as well as the mystery "boat" sauce, they have already been placed next to my assortment in the kitchen.

I opened the bespoke artisanal locally riot-fired Portland spicy corn nuts immediately before venturing any further; they are insanely good and I had to shut them away in a cupboard before I ate myself sick. thanks obama

Accessories! Digging the FIAT emblem, definitely gonna find a use for this

I'll take your word that this is a tyte JDM shift knob and not some toy of deviance. Also going to find an opportunity to swap it onto my friend's manual Scion as soon as possible :wiggle:

This is one of those things I've always looked at but never bought. Interested to try it out!

And finally, what I desperately need! These are so much nicer than the ones I had before. Absolutely perfect for fishing dropped bolts out from way beneath the battery somewhere!

OH wait, there's still more!!!! :aaaaa: Hahaha dude, this is so awesome - I can't remember the last time I got a LEGO at Christmas and I feel like a kid again. My girlfriend has already requested to assist in building it, so you've made two people happy.

superdylan man you rule, this was a fantastic gift. Thank you so much for putting it together and braving near-certain death/socialism getting me snacks from the CHAZ zone. AI is such a good community. Happy AISSmas everyone!

They're excellent, thank you. The Bonache one is a pretty mild vinegar and the flavor itself doesn't knock your socks off but I think they got the heat absolutely perfect. It's like the hot sauce equivalent of coming in to a cup of cocoa after you've been playing in the snowing. The green one doesn't have much heat but the flavor is great. Really nice poblano pepper flavor - put this sauce on literally anything and it will taste better. Anyway, all three are very good hot sauces and you have good taste, thanks again!

The sockets are all 10mm and marked with UV reactive paint. It has a warning about opening it unless needed as they are likely to disappear.
