Had a dream the other night where the NYT called me up and wanted me to take over a column. One of the columnists personally wanted me to take over for them, but they wouldn't tell me who. It turned out to be Ross Douthat, who was leaving earth with Elon Musk. The only condition if I accepted the position is that I would have to talk to Ross for 4 hours every day so he wouldn't get lonely in space.

i haven't watched the mandalorian, so i might be mistaken, but i don't think the baby in question is actually yoda, which makes the widespread nickname kind of racist

SDP has a flat 57€ for over 25-year-olds. The Left is tiered so I'd pay 72€ because it's based on loving brut income not net income.

at least in the states, libertarianism is a common waypoint on the journey of extracting oneself from a conservative upbringing. the whole "socially liberal, economically conservative" nonsense does play an important role as a way for people stagger the blows. For me by dropping the religious part of my upbringing, i was able to accept my gay friends and support them, etc. And then once you realize that half of conservatism is nonsense, the rest starts to fall as well since there is no longer some sacred status for trickle down economics and eventually capitalism itself. I started college as a standard suburban conservative, became a libertarian in the first year, was a democrat by the time i was 25, and now I'm a socialist.

He has a slightly tan skin texture, in the two of the three appearances where he is actually somewhere with light and not in some dark basement area on the way to the club. So he probably is not supposed to be read as black.

Those platforms have been allowed to operate without a single ounce of governance or law applying to them. Given that kind of environment and the fact that the guys in charge like Zuck and Jack dont exactly disagree with many of the ones that found their platforms useful, it shouldnt be that shocking that the end result of unfiltered hate and fascism is the spread of it.

unfortunately its also a pathway to really weird piss brain sects of libertarian nationalism, though that's less common and mostly just for the "intellectual" chuds who want to feel special.

Idk man I've felt bored as gently caress. Scheduled random event Things only happen once. Ala the scavengers trying to run you down. I wanted a world that was a little more random in terms of poo poo that wants to kill you.

Also on very hard I've found enemies are insanely bullet sponge. Like 3-4 pistol mags to drop a dude. Which is fairly annoying when the enemies kill you in 2 shots. I mean I'm kataning a loving guy and he's actually shooting me while being stapped in the chest repeatedly. I mean like 10-15 stabs.

I like the aesthetics but it feels like they walled you off into very small streets to avoid strain on the game
It's obvious a lot was cut in terms of assassin's creed type views of the city due to poor optimization. I mean the ps4 version looks like the original resident evil 2.

Like all games that throw loot at you as much as cyberpunk does it's very important that you keep gear up to date. I'm playing on hard and my revolver one shots almost any one if its too the head. Level appropriate shotguns are also good. Submachine guns are pretty poo poo and so are any non-revolver pistols.

it in no way as bad as no mans sky. they are loving idiots who did not have the courage to be honest and admit the game was too modern to run on a ps4 and that they could not optimize it for the platform in time. people would have been disappointed but if they had come out 2 years ago and admitted it wont run on the old systems, it would have spared them all of this vitriol

they delivered the game they advertised if you are playing on a ps5 or a pc. it is not as good as witcher 3, but its still a good game. with polish it will be even better, and if they do DLC the way they did with W3, it could be very good.
