I'm joking a bit, I'm pretty sure it was created so ESPN could have a proprietary stat, but also IIRC Dilfer hated that Romo was always so high in QB Rating

Joe Brady no but definitely Brian Daboll deserves a shot. I still think it's a crime that Matt Campbell hasn't been offered a Gruden deal yet. NFL wise Matt Eberflus deserves a look and Leslie Frazier might get another shot. Also Mike McDaniel is a whiz kid that is twice as creative as Sean Mcvay and way more deserved of a HC spot.

Daboll is getting a lot of miles out of Jordan Palmer's offseason work with Allen and Stephon Diggs being a stud. His aggressive calls mesh well with Josh but beyond that I don't know. He's a pretty risky pick.

Nice. What's the scheme? (Specially, the two thicknesses of half circle and the yellow arrows.)

Yeah it's generated from play by play data, that's actually been most of the work.

Sono posted:

I'll need a legend at some point, but it's:
Thin arrows: passes (incomplete are faded)
Thick arrows: runs
Dashed arrows: kicks
Yellow arrows: penalties

If the play is very short or negative, you see the arrow curve back (Carolina's 4th play is a pass for 1 yard, KC's first play is a run for 2 yards)

Cool to see the Browns really high up at least in one category though not quite the one I expected. Not cool in another way that we even have to come from behind because it means the defense sucks.

Going from Dick Vermeil to Herm Edwards was one hell of a culture shock as a Chiefs fan.

All offense all the time to kneeling out the half with a full two minutes left at the 40 yard line.

It's kind of wild to think about just how recently it was that that awful conservative nonsense existed.

<Thinks back two whole days to the Chargers settling for long fg's in the 4th quarter with an awful kicker>
