I'm sorry this happened. I've had similar experiences, and it took a while to change my habits, but now I lock my pc whenever I step away from it, to prevent just this type of nonsense. Sure you can use the computer, but you're logging in with your own credentials.

Oh, I set it to sleep before I left. I don't know if he removed it from my desk or unplugged it and took it to his office. Somehow, though, trying to use his login screwed things up.
I ended just leaving early, since fixing it took up time. What!Ever!!
