Shameful lack of curly fries in that chip listing. E: The Cessna 152 is the generic light aircraft everyone thinks of when they think of light aircraft. I started flying lessons earlier in the year but after getting aloft twice realised that A.) I'm too fat to comfortably fly that thing and B.) It's goddamn hard to socially distance in a 104cm wide fuselage (PA-28 supremacy). RockyB fucked around with this message at 05:31 on Dec 26, 2020 |

Even though we've been doing a Zoom call every weekend since March the one my family did last night was genuinely one of the most fun family experiences I've had in a while, possibly because everyone was roughly the same level of drunk and overfed so we all ignored the normal call etiquette and got on with just talking bollocks at maximum volume like we would if we were all together.

Cooked a goose for the first time yesterday for just me and the gf. I have one every year with the family but this is the first year doing it myself and it was surprisingly straightforward to do. It's so absolutely chocked full of fat that the skin pretty much deep fries itself and the meat stays moist even if you don't get the timings spot on. That salty, crispy skin is so good it melts in your mouth. And then using the same fat for the roasties is just god tier. A++ would do again.

We can only buy Chocolate Oranges and After Eight mints at Christmas in Australia, so we buy loads as a treat and gorge once a year on them.

Same, we followed Gordon Ramsey’s recipe https://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/gordons-christmas-roast-goose and it was delicious. We asked for a 10lb goose as it’s pretty much the smallest they sold but what we ended up getting was 14lb and I had to hack the tail off just to get it fit in the oven. Got about a litre of goose fat which will make delicious roasties for the rest of the year

When I was a kid Milkyways had the same middle as a Mars Bar , just without the caramel, and they were great. Then they swapped them to the grim white poo poo and ruined them. It'd be great if they've changed them back or otherwise improved them but I haven't tried one recently.
