They ended the last Olympics with the prime minister of Japan coming out of a pipe dressed as Super Mario. This was the one Olympics I was looking forward to.

Hanging out laundry to dry where I live in summer months with 17% humidity and 110+ degree heat means that by the time you've hung up the whole basket, the first ones are almost dry enough to take down

Is it an affect of extreme cold that the moisture in your breath is completely invisible? I've never been anywhere that cold, so my experience has always been cold = breath is a visible vapour.

How extreme the effect looks depends on temperature, relative humidity, wind, and lighting. You can clearly see her breath in some shots, but it's very bright out, there's a decent breeze, and it's probably low relative humidity. Combined they make it harder to notice. It was 7 F (-14 C) here on Christmas Eve and you could do vape tricks with a deep breath.

Man. That short video makes me homesick for my childhood like nothing else I tell ya. Global warming is more than a crime, its a tragedy. E. Listen to the sounds. You can hear the cold in the snow and how the door creaks. How steamy your breath looks is, among the things already mentioned, also dependent on how deep you breath and how dry your mouth is. Have you ever felt the snot in your nose freeze from a single breath? You know its cold when that feeling suddenly turns a bit warmer and wet. Because that's when the cold gives you a nose bleed. I would only read prolifically if it wasn't part of an assignment, otherwise reading was a horrible slog even when it was a book I picked out like Lord of the Rings.
