For content, I am gonna share Chili Bun, who made my heart full as gently caress yesterday. I volunteer at a bunny rescue, and am part if a team that makes sure the bunnies keep remembering that humans love them. Sometimes we get bunnies that are completely hosed up and hateful. Chili Bun was my first vorpal bunny tho, and the only one who has ever drawn blood despite frequent bites. She is also so tiny she will fit in the palm of your hand.   Everyone is mildly afraid of her, she is just mean. I've been working with her for months tho, loving her and getting her to accept pets. Last week she would still only let me near her tho. Yesterday I went in, and she was being paired! She has a new boyfriend, Mr Bonkers, and a completely new outlook on life. She was coming up to people and letting them pet her, she wasn't trying to kill him at all!  It was my last day on showing up for regular feeding on Wednesday, so seeing that she is going home with a new boyfriend was the perfect end to my year 🥰🥰🥰

So happy for chili bun!  Given local lockdown rules limiting outside activity, I've been playing A Link to the Past on DS via a gba cartridge and it is the most Christmassy thing ever. It's like being a kid again

Bunnies are the most amazing pets, super underrated, if you have time and attention to give them they are just wonderful catdog type creatures. But please remember they are not gerbils, they need love and care and time spent with them. My in-laws have a female bunny and a pekin drake in the yard. They tried to get the bunny a boyfriend but it and the duck would constantly fight, and it would also attack our dog and drew blood on it twice before we had to send it back. It only lasted a couple days and it was pretty sad.

It only lasted a couple days and it was pretty sad. you do have to find a match, not every bunny is good in every situation. the rescue I am with actually does bunny speed dating and stuff to find a match, its a process, and even then sometimes they do come back. and an angry bunny is pretty scary, when they fight its to the death if its not stopped bunnies are really complex creatures!

This print was the first piece of art I ever bought (or had my parents buy for me, as a preteen). We went to visit the Rockwell museum, or something, and all the Americana was most definitely not my thing, but this didn't just speak to me, it shouted. It's a loving awesome picture, thank you for sharing it
