If you've got cool flash stuff you want to save, you can always download the swf files and get a hold of a stand-alone flash player. Adobe has/had one, and I think there's at least one third party one floating around somewhere.

I personally love it thematically but also viscerally hate it. I don't think this is contradictory.

Yeah, I don't think people remember the scene because it looks bad or anything. It's deliberately off-putting and it is memorable because of that.

I don't think anyone actually hates it. It's just a fun gross part to be disgusted at. It's the thing that is closest to Peter Jackson's gross-out horror roots in the entire LoTR trilogy.

Not only does this suck, but he actually died two months ago on October 31, and his wife only made it public today, for some reason.

There's an old Counter Strike video where a dude yells "DOOR IS STUCK" a whole bunch, and someone recreated it (pretty faithfully, actually) in the puzzle game Baba is You. Which is a really good game, btw.

Cool to think about what all this means for potatoes in Ireland and tomatoes in Italy (and hot peppers and peanuts in Asia and everywhere), such traditional staple foods for these millennia-old cultures

Anyway

Let's not forget that it's interleaved with Pippin's melancholy song AND the silent faraway battle
