Trump eats a 12 for inciting a terrorist plot that attacks the US government, while I’m still perma’d from Twitter for being a bit mean to the revenge porn rear end in a top hat. Its almost like there’s different rules for him and us.

I copped a 12 hour for telling Convicted Racist Andrew Bolt to eat poo poo and die, and was told that it would be lifted when I deleted it. I thought to myself "oh well, I had a good run, I'm not deleting it though". Then a human reviewed the case and went "no actually, telling Convicted Racist Andrew Bolt to eat poo poo and die is proper discourse, ban lifted". Rudy continues to not let us down, by the way. https://twitter.com/declanpgarvey/status/1347021060047335424

The joke is that the members of Erasure admit to liking the cover version, despite "trying to diss covers".

I always heard fairly favorable things about CBS, so good job to them for taking this lovely approach and ruining that reputation. I was glad to hear the word ‘terrorists’ in the senate last night, it needs to be called what it was - gently caress offending your audience.

Sometimes you look at pictures of previous decades and the people have what now would be considered ridiculous clothing, hairstyles, and accessories. Then the people who lived through that period say, "everyone dressed like that and we didn't think anything of it because it was normal at the time." I had always wondered which parts of our current zeitgeist would become retroactively embarrassing, but I'm pretty positive this goofy dog lingo is one of them.

I've worked at one bank and one financial services company and stepping away from your desk without hitting Win-L to lock your computer was a first-and-final warning offence at both. Expecting as little as that level of discipline from your elected representatives and their staff doesn't seem onerous. We trained 19-year-old call centre staff to do it, and they managed it fine.

You are supposed to change your colleagues backgrounds and move icons around anytime they leave their computer unlocked and unattended. For real IT security you just need an office of workers just out of college you see.
