I'd easily put FotNS over Dead Souls, Kiwami 1, 4, and 5. I give it some slack in that it doesn't have a decade plus of games to build on and has a tighter all-around experience albeit stuck in the Hokuto no Ken Greatest Hits storyline they're forced to integrate into their own. If it were entirely focused on the story of Eden it'd be a lot better but they have to have all the fights everyone knows so it's a weaker experience, but I enjoyed myself far more playing it than a good number of Yakuza Studios titles.

Wait is yakuza 3 supposed to be one of the good ones? I thought it was the rough one you get through to get to 4-6, it's definitely the one I stalled out on.

How is Yakuza Kiwami 2? I thought 0 >>> 1 even though Nishikiyama/Kiryu's story was interesting it just didn't hit the same levels as 0. Also I heard there is some combat change in 2?

Demons is easier, believe it or not. The difficulty seems to be pretty front loaded. Also most of the zone end bosses are gimmick easy fights. I'm no master Souls player by any means.

Finished tlou2. Good poo poo. Fantastic game the whole way through though I wish I didn’t suffer from “saving all my poo poo for the final encounter” syndrome only to find that those rattlers were it. Oh well. I felt the same level of tension during levels as I did playing mgsv. I’m a walking arsenal who’s basically unstoppable but the way they make things seem insurmountable is really effective. managed to remain spoiler free for my entire run except the joel death. but that happened so early on that it didn’t really matter. unsure what the negativity surrounding it was at launch. mastapiece baybee some choices I need someone else to choose: - finish REmake 1 + play 2 - start demons souls - ghost of Tsushima - wildcard choice (I’m not going to play 13 sentinels where my housemates can see me don’t mention it)

I just wanna say that I’ve never posted in the XBox thread but the absolute worst poo poo-stinkiest and most mean-spirited posters ITT are positively SAINTS compared to the jerks at the bottom of the Nintendo Switch thread. I'm replaying Days Gone on PS5 and I have to say, that 60 FPS makes such a huge difference in terms of really soaking in the beautiful open world. And haters gonna hate but I love the story of the game!!

Its topic of discussion for the last three days has been about batteries. I actually just unbookmarked it because I can’t think of a single game coming out that I’d want to play on Xbox. Switch thread is sour and dour at times but generally fine. At least there’s plenty of games on it to talk about.
