there have been plenty of franchises for which the tolerable fans greatly outnumbered the poo poo fans, and also many for which this was not the case you'll probably never encounter or never know you encounter a tolerable fan unless it comes up naturally in conversation because one sign of being a tolerable fan is not shoving it in your face at every opportunity

This anthology features twenty-four of our favorite original stories published on the site in the past year. also I have read books 1 & 2 of the Interdependency and have just noticed 3 sitting in my Kindle, I must have preordered it  They are OK space opera books, if you've read any Scalzi before this is very much more of the same; large scale storylines, spunky sweary characters, but nothing you haven't seen before in other books and probably done better. If you see book one in a Kindle deal for a quid / buck pick it up, but it's not going to blow your mind.

also btw i just watched skylin3s 3: part III: the penultimate battle it was 100% verbatim quotes from other scifi (im not kidding, i dont think theres one original line in it. i guess thats what they were going for, but i noticed it myself so i feel good about it) so dont expect any new ideas, but i had fun and it looks like the actors did too plus it has alexander siddig as a pithy general
