I interpret today's police in the US as a politically independent military force in the context of history and revolutions, so I can see why so many people think that the police will go in hard on whatever flavor of chud terrorist comes at them next. At the same time, the police have reliably shown themselves to be ideologically aligned with and essentially captured by those kind of political actors, so I'm not buying these forecasts of blowback. The police are prolly gearing up for nationwide crackdowns on antifa and GOTV organizers lmao

I feel that the police are often a class of their own and will deal with threats to them before other problems. In this case it's the insurrectionists who killed a cop and injured others that have moved to the front of the line in terms of threats.
