To the resident professional tree toucher, how much of this is skill and how much is luck?

The felled tree is already leaning in that direction so cutting it would always make it fall that way. The nearby tree to the right and the further trees to the left limit the degree to which it can deviate from the target. It looks like it could have taken out one section of the fence (it does crush a bit of the end) but there wasn't room for it to fall much out of way. So, not just skill or luck, which are both necessary, but everything was already aligned ideally for the 'trick'.

Big fan of :frog:

OSHA adjacent - I've been keeping Gold Rush on in the background because it's good for noise that's safely ignorable (every episode features a make it or break it clean out) and in one early episode, MSHA inspectors come and shut down two of the three mines for safety issues. The main characters (who are ownership) bitch about how they've mined for 20 years without a problem and blah blah blah. Then, unusually, they give one sentence to one of the hired hands (who are usually ignored every episode), who just says "MSHA is good because without them a lot more miners would be dead."

It’s a good channel. There is a high tempo of dangerous situations.

The mine that I would have been most wary of was the underground placer mine. It’s tunnels dug out of nothing more substantial than wet dirt and river rocks.

Hi, truckfuckler here. Sometimes people load weird things in the boxes I carry. I'm still unsure how they managed 1°)not to kill anyone 2°)not tip my trailer over. At some point one of the guy was directly below the load as show in pic #2.

Sadly no pics of the successful loading as it took them five hours to make it fit in there and by the time they were done it was night time.
Does this qualify for crop harvesterfuckling?

I didn't notice the passenger until rewatch. I assume his secondary function is to help push the thing to roll and at the destination assist at stopping it, perhaps by throwing himself under a tire. At least he's well positioned for that job.
