Xen was added in Dec 2019. They put a fuckton of work into it.

The Monster Hunter demo finally got me to troubleshoot why my PS5 controller cannot connect to my switch properly (through 8bitdo). After like an hour of loving around it seems like if you already had a pro controller synced at any point in the past it just like...doesn't work. For reasons unknown I had to wipe all past connections, restart the switch, and then sync the PS5. This was not a common troubleshooting answer because I suppose people who are buying 8bitdos don't have switch pro controllers in the first place so it never comes up.
