Some Guy TT posted:The transherbivore guy and his sheep wife are confirmed infertile and adoption is quite common in the worldbuilding. At least four characters that I can think of. I'd like to think hybrids tending to be infertile is coherent worldbuilding based on real life biology but I know that in reality this is probably just a coincidence and that if it ever comes up it's going to be the dumb explanation you wrote. What's funny is that (spoiler'd since Classic K&K is getting posted and others might not know it yet) sheep wife is actually half-wolf since she's Ralph's kid that he didn't know about. So chronologically, Corrie is the first predator/prey hybrid to exist in Hellworld.

American exceptionalism means thinking even our racism is special. (non-snarky answer: yes, "random" versus random. Different places have different ideas of what counts as "white" but bigotry and security theatre are universal.)

She takes doesn't really provide a decent argument against the dome's terrible gender politics. She also did absolutely nothing in helping to resolve things, especially since the Controller just shrugged and said the men and women can go if they wanted to. Axa also acts as if sending these people to the other dome is a good thing because they'll have the freedom to love each other there, when the dome does absolutely nothing of the sort. IMO Axa feels like a trial for a softcore porn video series. It has that same vapid plotting mostly driven by lame ideas about sexual relationships or lame excuses for characters to disrobe.

They now have wearable sensors, such as Dexcom or Freestyle, that attach to your arm and send data on your blood sugar to your phone/smartwatch/whatever. I assume that's what Rex is talking about here. I don't know how comfortable and/or easy to use they are compared to fingersticking, however.

If both the data and the correction are done without need for the user's input it's different from the automatic system then needing to tell the user to eat something. Still handy for some people in the second situation, but I think I see why a corner-cutting insurance company would deem one more "valid".
