I spent the months between the end of the dem primary and Election Day organizing a graduate employee’s union, building a local mutual aid network from scratch, campaigning for ranked choice voting, and working on two local campaigns (one won and one lost). I didn’t mention, donate to or think about Joe Biden once and I sure as hell didn’t vote for him. this single minded focus on the presidency is the ultimate lib poo poo and it’s what happens when you’re so comfortable that you view politics as an aesthetic or self-expressive activity rather than the organization and direction of power.
