I got my 48 Ninjago men through and I’m very happy! Shipped in just over a week, eight of them are on bikes (more expensive) and they come with all the various twiddly bits you’d get with the real product. Not only that, there was another bag inside the main bag with about thirty more mixed Lego guys + gear, and a tiny little slip of paper saying “the free gift for the valued customer.” Brilliant experience and I’m still not certain there isn’t a “bonus package as apology for the incorrect product” coming down the line too. Edit: having investigated further I only have forty Ninjago men, although the 8 guys on bikes makes up for it. The free gift is amazing - 24 soldier guys with every bit of kit - they’ve got three guns each, dogs, binoculars, tac vests, the works. Then there’s a dozen random figures including ‘custom’ characters like baby yoda, deadpool and Freddie Mercury. Then to top it off, eight of the traditional bad guys in the ninjago universe - the Waffen SS. I am beyond delighted and my joy is immeasurable. In terms of quality the bootlego stuff is definitely cheaper, more brittle plastic, but the tracks link up with official ones just fine and the trains don't seem to mind.

It is 100% an esbit pocket stove knock off. Esbits are pretty great if you hike/camp a lot and only really need to boil water/heat up food since they fit in a pocket. I hike/camp for work and have one just for that reason.

I've seen those archimedes screw pipes pop up when people on twitter post something that gets like 100k retweets and dropshippers come in to pay them to use the replies as advertising space, and I always figured there's no way they don't suck. If you don't smoke the whole thing in one go, then how do you re-light it? And won't it get slowly clogged up with ash anyway?

So far the only item I have never successfully received from Ali is nail foils. I've had individual items fail to show, but I've tried to buy nail foils multiple times and never received one. Nail polish and glue for foils gets here fine, but the foils themselves disappear into the void. They're not even worth complaining about because they're like a dollar. I don't know what it is about them that makes them go missing in the mail. Someday...
