I've always wondered why did Lowtax give up the site? Like what was in it for him if he didn't give it up? did anyone mention using Google Pay or Amazon Pay or PayPal (if they haven't unblacklisted SA yet lol) as payment processing yet? idk how much that would help reduce credit card transaction fees otherwise a patreon for monthly donations seems like a good idea

Offsites and discords were launching left right and center, and the users made it clear that if he didn't give up the site, we were gonna bail, the gravy train was over. Transitioning the forums to someone he knew and trusted was probably a better outcome for his ego, than seeing them die. Jeffrey also paid for the forums, so maybe he just wanted the cash up front.  who can say for sure.

I don't think it all started out as a huge scam even if it ended that way, I want to doubt nuking them really was on the table for rich -- but, Jeffrey had those negotiations so who knows what was thrown around. I'm guessing it was just some number to walk away and rich may have been relieved to do it. ALL just guesses.
