Well hey, the whole sledge set is uh...only 200p on the market, less if you only need a few bits.

I don't really know of a better location for farming archmelee mods than just slamming your face into archwing for a few hours, sadly. Railjack assassinate bosses can drop 60/60s and a few other things but if you want just the basic stuff I think your best bet is running AW or buying them from people.

Actually, the AW mods drop a lot from mission crates/chests in away missions in railjack.

You just sorta accuulate them busting lockers and such there.

Its the main reason energy amplifier isn't a 50p mod any more.

Don't.

Its an exercise in hating yourself and frustration.

IIRC the rare part never got any sort of buff or love droprate wise.
From the wiki:
Wolf Sledge Image.png Wolf Sledge Blueprint (3.948%)
Wolf Sledge Image.png Wolf Sledge Handle (13.552%)
Wolf Sledge Image.png Wolf Sledge Head (13.552%)
Wolf Sledge Image.png Wolf Sledge Motor (3.948%)
Saturn Six Mask (2%)
Nitain Extract (0.129%)

The only way to fight him is wolf beacons from nora for 50 creds each.

so if you find a beacon share its 4 rolls.

For 'gently caress your grind' comparison, the motor and blueprint are a little under twice as as rare as the braton vandal parts from rot c ESO (2.01% dropchance each.)

I never got the mask back during the event and I've made my peace that I'll never get it with the current system in place. gently caress 50 creds per attempt at 2% drop rates. I'm just lucky it's actually pretty terrible and that's there's much better masks availble.

I like Barrier on Hildryn and Velocity on Mesa. I've had luck with Strike and Fury on Exalted melee frames, too. Also nothing wrong with Warmth for fighting Exploiter Orb or Healing for anything that does Rad procs.

the two shield arcanes, maybe Grace (maybe not though, it's one of the ones that the "no more overlapping activations" nerf really hosed over), Avenger, and after that it gets increasingly niche but sometimes the Rad- or Magnetic-proc immunity ones are nice so you just don't have to think about that nonsense

IIRC Pyrana Prime is popular with Mesa users because it synergizes well with her 4, or it did according to some guide I read in 2018 maybe. It's been a while.

Speaking of it being a while, I find myself playing Warframe again. I played the hell out of Railjack for a couple of months after it came out, then kinda tapered off. What should I play and what should I avoid? How do I get one o' them Kuva Nukors before they get nuked all the way to Vankuva?

Grace is still good.

You can still do the 'immortal health regen' build using grace and victory together if you want, victory isn't as rare/expensive tho.

Like, there's fundamentally nothing wrong with just throwing grace+guardian on every frame, but once you get energize its tempting to branch out.

Overall I think there's more use from defensive/utility arcanes than weapons, but the few that are out there are for specific frames/weapons/purposes. AFTER you get the essentials:

Avenger allows dumb things with flat crit chance boosts.
Eidolon farm weapons (sniper)
Specialist frame things. barrier/Aegis. The flat regen/sec is good on squishy other frames due to shield gating!
velocity for mesa
Arachne can be useful for builds where you take damage mods off for space, or for funky coded frames where certain powers apparently count as weapons.
Maxed out magnetic and radiation resist arcanes are good quality of life and also super cheap.. THe first for eidolons, the second for radiation liches.

Pyrana Prime is a solid-damage, high-slash, decent-status, high-crit secondary shotgun with auto fire that gets boosted fire rate if you kill a bunch of enemies fast with it, it's a good weapon.

Thanks for replies folks. I'm currently running Energizer and Guardian on all my frames, I might pick up Grace for something like Inaros I guess, it's the squishier frames like Banshee I wasn't sure what else to run.

Honestly I'm kinda surprised Shedu is so high up, since don't you need to slog through to the final railjack sector to get the parts? Also get that battacor lower, make my riven even more powerful. Love that gun.

Ok I love Lavos so, so much. As an Inaros Sicko I like having durable frames and am used to having a 1 that heals and opens people up to finishers, but Lavos is like, what if you actually built Inaros into a frame with abilities you'll ever use (and indeed, use frequently!). The self-sufficiency between his 1 and 3 are incredible, the dash on his 2 makes me feel like baby Gauss, and even the 4 is just enough area-nuking to keep me engaged in Defense/Survival maps. Add in the elemental combinations and playing my first ever Condition Overload melee, and this guy absolutely rules.

SkyeAuroline

My brief experiments with Lavos made me pretty fond of him, I'll have to do more when/if I come back. The dash is super fun, yeah, though I had a bit of trouble with the control aspect of it - never played Gauss so don't have the experience to work with.

The only thing they really have in common is feeling like a runaway freight train when they're going, the good news with Lavos is if you tap it again (or in a pinch, just double tap it to start-stop) you do all the AOE around you at once. It's just Neat, to me.

This may be unpopular but I'd really like a version of this game that was slower. I've got a thousand hours in and the speed at which things happen is bananas.

I love basically everything about it except that most content is blazing through stages as killframes melt absolutely everything. It makes it feel like you're not actually doing anything.

Like a version where you're actually traversing the system in a ship as a space pirate, boarding enemy vessels and taking them out for their sweet prizes. A Warframe where stealth is actually a real option and not "Take Loki and ignore 90% of the map."

Games like these are super good of you love numbers 2 go up but I've never been concerned about optimal builds or TTK or whatever. I just want sweet space ninja action that feels more like Tenchu and less like Dynasty Warriors.

This is why I switched to Destiny with friends for a while. Slower paced, feels like you're actually doing something instead of just erasing crowds, still PVE (I don't do Crucible). Doesn't have the Warframe visual or story feel, but... can't get everything I guess.

I have over five thousand hours logged in Warframe exclusively because of the insane mobility and speed at which it is played, and if anything compromised that as the core of the game I would be gone the following day :colbert:

There's a huge world out there full of action games where everything is methodical and laborious - Warframe is one of the only islands of raw adrenal speed that even exists, to say nothing of it also being good and fun

Yeah and that's why at the end of the day I still love, love Warframe but I'd love it more if there was a mode or optional mission type that changed up the formula a bit.
