I'm astounded at people thinking that 1)D are communist/socialist to a man. 2)that this DOD stand down is to eliminate anyone who leans right. ST 6 is so good because it’s about the end of the Cold War instead of just trying to be an action movie. It’s kind of amazing that all Star Trek movies since then and the new series completely misunderstand that.
