I’m reading early Naruto and even if Naruto always had a super strong fox demon that gave him 9000 MP it’s still kinda nice in the Zabuza arc to see that he’s a talentless nothing that has to learn the rudiments of good ninjaing, and that even if Sasuke is this godlike prodigy he’s still kind of a scrub. And it’s depressing to see the origins of Sakura being a better ninja than either but still being sidelined because her power level’s nowhere near as high. I guess she’ll always have “same VO as the Jump Up Super Star lady” though.

They've flattened the curve more and it's super quick/cut some quests but ARR still is the least interesting part of the game. Luckily at 48 you don't have much ARR left!

also if you roll on a preferred server you can get every job in the game to 50 just from main story quests before arr is even over, which at least makes the msq experience funnier

At 48 they're probably 75% of the way through 2.0 which means they still have the entirety of the 2.x patch quests to do after finishing 2.0.
