I am disgusted by this obviously antisemetic trope of a small cabal of jewish people influencing a western democratic institution behind the scenes. In all seriousness though: how does this end well? How is this not going to end with... actual left wing antisemitism rising as people are kicked from the party on the board of deputies say so, and any attempt at left wing democratic route to socialism is thwarted by a group of jewish conservatives invited to vet every leader, representative, and member of the party. If for a moment, the problem what they say it is, how does this help. I know that the answer, it always was a disingenuous excuse for a purge, and both the labour right and the BOD would literally benefit from ensuring leftwing antisemitism is real enough to finally genuinely point to.

Best of luck to you, Just Another Lurker! At this point, I've just resigned myself that I'm probably going to be working until I die, or the world burns. Whichever comes first. I'm never going to own my own house, and will probably never see my pension. Furlough was a nice little chance to pretend - I didn't have to worry about money (even managed to save some!), didn't have the physical stress of work, and even though was going through the loss of a beloved family member, my mental health was actually in a good place, by being able to actually focus on grieving and sorting out their financial without the pressure of "gently caress I've got to be away and doing that poo poo for 8 hours".
