Because i once equipped skellys charm and it felt like cheating lol. I can make it to hades' first phase without them, ill be fine... Eventually.

It's a fully-fleshed-out game mechanic, tied into the other game mechanics in multiple ways. There are, like, boons and items which just make your death defiances better. This game even comes with a "make this easier" button, and death defiance isn't it. Halfway through writing this post I thought, "wait, I don't remember subscribing to a Hades thread" lol

Are there any good nocrit servers besides the Uncletopia servers? I feel like so many of the people using those tend to be unpleasant, and they always scramble as soon as a team can't defend the first point.

Creators went well. It's east coast so I get higher ping there, but the servers seem friendlier based on the couple hours I played. Only problem was it took a while to get a game of swiftwater that wasn't a stomp, but I think that's just the nature of 5cp in pubs.

Back in the halcyon days when ISP servers existed, one of the local ISPs ran one called "Bad Maps", that cycled between pl_badwater and cp_badlands. Best map rotation ever.

miserable matches today. mostly getting stomped, and as such unable to focus on my engagements. thankfully i got matched into an upward match where they pushed us all the way to the final cap, but my last second switch to pyro basically guaranteed the win. snipers get really cocky and they think you can shoot the scorch shot from spawn to the little slit on the cubby they shoot from. also last match of the night had like 8 bots. cool stuff

I haven't used it myself but I know lots of people use the free software you get with nvidia to record themselves. You can have it constantly record yourself and then easily delete or save when something does or doesn't happen.

As a poster pointed out i used to use nvidias shadowplay and now radeons instant capture, which let you capture the last x time of play (you can configure the length)
