I mean he hasn't forced the people he has sacked to publicly apologize for their crimes against the Texans but give it another year or so and they should start happening.

The closest analog is former SK president Park Geun-hye.

She was insanely corrupt generally, but the breaking point was falling under the influence of some cult leader who was defrauding the SK government of millions of dollars, all to help train her daughter in equestrian sports in the hopes of her competing in the Tokyo olympics.

Like imagine this in houston after deshaun is traded to carolina for bridgewater and some guest passes to the Billy Graham museum.

In case anyone is curious, and because I went a looked this up back during the regular season, only one head coach has ever been fired mid-season of their first year with a team: Pete McCulley for the 1978 San Francisco 49ers. In that era, Eddie DeBartolo fired four coaches in less than three years before hiring Bill Walsh in '79.

That said, I'm putting nothing Easterby taking the word of God to make himself coach and make Jerry Jones the most jealous he's ever been in his life.

lol I went googling for the answer to my question and I found a puff piece the Pats did on Easterby

https://www.patriots.com/news/you-don-t-know-jack-the-most-influential-patriot-you-ve-never-heard-of

lot of funny stuff in here

quote:

"Right away, faces light up. Moods soften. Any tension or formality quickly evaporates at the mention of Jack Easterby."

...

"Man," longtime special teams co-captain Matthew Slater exclaims, "I can only hope and pray to be half the man that [Jack]'s been and impact lives the way he has."

...

So, what exactly does Easterby do for the Patriots? He boils it down to this.

"How can I leave everyone I interact with better than I found them?"

Results may vary from person to person, but on this, there is consensus: Easterby is succeeding.

I keep thinking about how BoB lucked into a power vacuum and he just took advantage of it in that small-time hood kinda way of trying to do whatever he could for himself in the short term, then this genuine gangster shows up and starts grifting on a whole other level and puts BoB on his rear end, then starts slowly taking out his enemies one by one trying to become Taxans Emperor For Life. It's truly amazing.
