Nancy 1946 I'm still tweaking my scanning and touch-up technique. I have a set of Photoshop actions to resize/adjust colors, but I think my scanner has a blurry spot in the glass or something. I've wiped it down with a cloth, so I'm not entirely sure why the blurriness in e.g. the 3rd panel happens. Maybe the book is subtly moving around during scanning or something, IDK.

The Dinette Set should not be allowed near technology. Working Daze is an old joke, in more ways than one. Super-Fun-Pak Comix was actually more interested in his epididymis. Cul De Sac almost got away with it.

Faye having to move away and Hil breaking down from it is smaller in scope, but it's a realistic portrayal of how COVID has hosed up our lives. In this installment of The Timid Soul (February 20, 1933), it's interesting to realize that typewriters were once seen as decadent and modern. Look at the detail on that furniture - and the interplay between the shadows and the reflections.

No railroads "civilization" ended in Buffalo Too much crap to move by wagon...and would rather not have it & the family repurposed as prairie decorations when the locals don't take a shine to you. Granted, they could have ended up as ocean bottomfeed around Tierra del Fuego, but it was a riskier time.
