Love this type of old man poo poo in wrestling.

Speaking of Thesz, here's him at 74 in his last match, against Masa Chono.

The Steiners actually did that spot several times; it's also how they beat Arn Anderson and Bobby Eaton for the WCW World Tag Team Titles.

There's another gif thread now, though the OP is crammed full of like 4000 gifs so I never open it. Should I close this one since it's like 7 years old now, has 200+ pages and the links in the OP are woefully out of date?

I can close the other one (or remove all the gifs from the first post; didn't know that did anything to cause people not to open it :( ) , but yea as Hunter mentioned its more casual :justpost: stuff whatever; eitherway I'm fine with it because I've been dying at

Are they somehow better at doing quick camera zooms at the impact moment, or do I like it just because it isn't WWE?

flatluigi
Apr 23, 2008

here come the planes
that zoom's a lot faster than wwe does it and also manages to keep all the information in frame right where you were looking beforehand so you don't lose track

it also happens only once where wwe loves to do it repeatedly for repeated shots

CyberAgent's production is essentially second to none at this point, between DDT, NOAH & TJPW. The camera work & direction, the pre-match VT, I think they are the industry leader in that regard.
