I'm not quite ready to call that really odd feeling in the gut or possibly in the sub-gut-area "optimism" juuust yet, but the FFP2-mask mandate seems to be showing some solid results, we've managed to ramp up our initially-faceplanted vaccination effort to 140k doses/day, and spring is right around the corner. We're seeing a strong increase in the British strain which has put the brakes on how fast we were going down with ~number~, but I'm kinda hoping that we can continue this downward slope if we just keep the mask-mandate going while continuing the vaccination effort.  Now, if the OPEN 'ER UP push and the fact that folks are starting to shy away from the Astra Zeneca vaccine due to ~mild fever and headaches for a few days~ gains traction...welp.
