Especially since a lot of times premium stuff can be a little more niche, so it's more likely to be stuff I'll pass on vs free feeds. I've found this to be generally but not universally true for the pods I listen to. But my strategy is to just park $5 in one pods patreon for a month or few months and then move on to the next one as I exhaust the premium backlog that I'm interested in.

thank christ chapo is finally putting all of their episodes in their grey wolf feed. no longer do you need to stay subbed to their public feed and have the teaser clips clutter up your playlist. true anon has been smart enough to put everything in their truth feed as long as i've been subscribed. if brace could figure out all eps should be in the premium feed, there's no reason it should have taken will and chris as long

sorry have to get this off my chest, twitter screenshots be damned. the latest episode of a good podcast 5-4 (A Podcast about how the Supreme Court sucks) has peter on a 3 minute or so monologue at some point, but for some reason michael and rhiannon especially i swear to god interrupt with "right" "exactly" "yup" every few seconds. i swear! listen to the episode from like 37 minutes! it's a good episode otherwise but i had to stop it there. he was probably just saying something really profound because this doesnt happen in other episodes. someone else noticed this (right)? ... you should listen to 5-4 for some awful supreme court stuff though, they're nice and casual. despite the great disrespect they have for justice scalia Quotey has issued a correction as of 01:44 on Feb 19, 2021 |
