Not sure if I've encountered my first scam, but I've ordered headphones 12 days ago with "delivery in 2-3 days, or money back" (from France), and they're not showing up.The seller doesn't respond to any messages, and on closer inspection, the shop is called "shop35456112", so I'm not sure if that's some macro-generated clone to get a quick buck and disappear.

Shop+*numbers* is the autogenerated standard i think, i've got things delivered from shops like these but yeah i'd imagine it's easier for one to be a scam than a regular named shop. Check your delivery tracking, wait a bit and if it doesn't show open a dispute and ali will pretty much always reimburse you from what i heard.

Yeah the shop839293892 (whatever numbers) isn't a scam or even a red flag in itself - I've bought tons of stuff from stores like that no problem. I'm truthfully amazed that any store on AX would ever guarantee shipping in ANY time frame, let alone 3 days. The fastest shipping I've ever received in like 4 years of ordering stuff every month or so was maybe 16 days and I was SHOCKED.

You can get some more info about sellers by hovering over the store name. This store has been around for 5 years and has 98% positive feedback. It's probably a reliable seller.  This store has been around for a year and has lovely feedback at 77.2% positive. The detailed seller ratings are all 4.0, which is low. I'd be cautious about ordering anything expensive, because they may be looking to close the store and open a new one to escape their bad ratings soon.  This store has been around for THREE MONTHS. The feedback isn't awful but I'd be cautious about any store that new.  Fraudulent sellers usually won't cost you money, just time. If the thing doesn't arrive at all Ali will give you your money back. If the thing arrives but it isn't the right thing or it is a broken thing then there is more trouble because you'll have to send photo/video evidence showing how the thing is not the right thing. Keep your packaging, they may want pictures of the shipping label.
