I am not a biologist, or food safety person, but kimchi is fermented cabbage, which means it's sitting in a pretty acidic solution. Botulism hates acidity, it's essentially why fermentation works for preserving food. Mold can grow on kimchi though, I think that's the bigger concern.

Pretty sure I posted in here about getting a bunch of matches with people who turned out to be Trumpers on Hinge. Appliance chat: I sold appliances from the end of college into early adulthood and Bosch dishwashers are absolutely worth the additional cost. Anecdotally we had fewer issues with Whirlpool/Kitchenaid overall than Frigidaire or GE but that certainly could’ve changed in the subsequent 12yrs. I’ve had good luck w my whirlpool appliances—except the dishwasher, which is trash. Not unreliable just loud and has a lovely silverware layout. The high end kitchenaid dishwashers are nearly as good as Bosch but if you’re going to spend the money, get the Bosch. Samsung and LG had lots of problems then and they seem to have continued based on my peers’ experiences with them. We sold mostly mid-range poo poo though and if you’re digging into Viking or Wolf or Miele/Subzero/Thermador territory I didn’t have a lot of experience with them. Hot Diggity! posted:I think I'm gonna buy Terraforming Mars today. Do we need more board games? No. It's a really good game. of the expansions, Preludes is a necessity, it kickstarts everyone's engines, and gets the game down to a nice shorter playtime. Aside from that, the other expansions add some cute things, but aren't necessary. of them, the 2 new maps pack is baller, and Venus is probably the weakest. Colonies and Turmoil are both fun additions.

Just let my dog out while I went to go start lunch. Check on him and he's eating something he dug up from the flower bed. Run to grab it from him as he's trying to finish it before I get there. Swipe my finger over his tongue to grab wanting. I thought he was eating dirt until the smell hit me

And when 300mg Ketamine and four point restraints are barely keeping a 75kg dude on my stretcher because of crack or meth or both..... My mind can’t comprehend coked out Mike. —————— Unrelated but the phrase Jaws Of Life are total bullshit and I hate hearing it. Also extrication tools are frequently used for less serious accidents just for access. Door pops, etc. Their use isn’t necessarily a measure of severity.

Technically I think they’re talking specifically about the large cutters and spreaders. They do carry large grinders, sawzalls and k12s for cutting metal too but they aren’t usually referenced along w the extrication tools as jaws or whatever. That wreck looked reasonably serious but most damage looks crumple zone, and rolling onto that side they may have had to pull the roof to get him out. Not always a big deal.
