Decided to replay Death Stranding on a whim and falling in love all over again It's an especially good game when you know you can skip through all the tedious interstitial conversations without missing anything good at all ever Also noticed a bunch of qol and new features Dope

Then we had that hectic fight against the Great Girros where that Odogaron wouldn't leave us alone. After you left I responded to a bunch of SOSs and had some pretty cool fights as well, made myself a new weapon and then went on a few hunts to finish off a set of armour that I felt would complement it. Dunno if it's a good build or not but it was fun making it. Then I had a really tough solo fight against the Viper Tobi in a story expedition. So many awesome epic little moments in each fight. Before I would get kinda burnt out after a few hunts but I played all day yesterday and wasnt bored even by the time Lady Corn kicked me off the PS5 cuz she had just finished work and wanted to play Spirit of the North Monster Hunter owns.

i stumble across a youtube video highlighting the creator's list of 10 most profound games ever. they listed nier automata as number one, and then i saw video suggestions for videos like "nier automata: the best game you (probably) won't play" and "nier automata: best video game ending of all time" i'm definitely intrigued, but i'm afraid of it turning into an undertale situation. i got so bored with the gameplay that i just looked up what was so "revolutionary" about the game. i think it's a pretty neat concept but could never bring myself to actually slog through the gameplay. some of y'all have nier gangtags who i'm sure we'll stage, but i'm wondering if anyone else can talk me off the ledge of buying another game i'll wind up not playing/enjoying
