I'm kind of meh on defined seasons. It is good for awareness but always results in a lot of stupid semantics. Just like naming winter storms - gently caress off with that poo poo.

Yeah but I can see why The Weather Channel does it because for like 4 years in a row there were nasty winter storms that jammed up major cities and every one of them was just named by Twitter with completely indistinguishable #SnowRagnorak type hashtags.
