Yes, but only on a technicality because that's a crocodile.

If you stick a plunger onto a croc's nose it prevents them from doing that death roll maneuver

They are technically bilaterally symmetric, not rotationally symmetric.

Geometrically it’s both, but they evolved from bilateral organisms with more conventional body plans, and this leads to quirks like having a preferred direction of travel. They don’t just lead with whichever limb is convenient.

I feel like the last thing seen by an awful lot of my ancestors would have been that swish of scaled tail at the end.

Hm! I didn't know starfish have a "front." Suddenly I would like to know more about the evolution of starfish.

e: the Wikipedia page for starfish is madness from start to finish.
ee: " ...an endoskeleton of calcium carbonate components... [including] compound ossicles with forceps-like jaws ... [which] wave around on flexible stalks in response to physical or chemical stimuli while continually making biting movements."
"...In some species such as Nepanthia belcheri, a large female can split in half and the resulting offspring are males. When these grow large enough they change back into females."
"If one arm detects an attractive odour, it becomes dominant and temporarily over-rides the other arms to initiate movement towards the prey. The mechanism for this is not fully understood"

Unless there are varieties of Wolf Spider, I'd say no. Wolf Spiders look like Hunstman Spiders on steroids; they are distinguishable by a Union Jack type pattern on the thorax in a browny grey palette.

yeah it's really helpful for when a kid falls off a 2 story playground structure when they've barely acquired a visual on it
edit: if your kid hasn't glitched reality to skip 40 ft forward and 20 ft up just to immediately pitch themselves off the top, then you need to find cooler playgrounds

Please don't forget that I am an extremely racist idiot who also has terrible opinions about the Culture series.

quote:

The 56-year-old fisherman Luigi Marquez claims that a whale swallowed him. According to Marquez he stayed there for three days and nights.

When Marquez didn’t return home, the coastal guard tried to find him during but failed to locate him and he was considered dead.

“This great beast swallowed me the morning after the storm,” he told local reporters.

“It is the most frightening thing I have ever lived. Everything was pitch black and I was shivering cold. The only thing that kept me alive were the raw fish I ate and the light from my waterproof watch, that is how I kept in touch with time. And the smell, I will never forget that horrible stench of putrid decomposition. I had to wash for three days before the odor went away,” Luigi Marquez told reporters.

“This is truly a miracle! Saint Mary of Jesus has heard our prayers. “I prayed and I prayed and I never lost faith, and the Lord has brought me back my precious Luigi,” told his wife, Penelope Marquez, to local reporters.

There is absolutely zero chance this guy is lying and was just in a brothel for 3 days.
