To be clear it’s just Anya that’s dumb. Poor girl has a hard time at school

She's kind of dumb but also secretly 2 years younger than everyone else as she lied about her age when being adopted.

Also to give Anya some credit, it's notes that she would have aced her classical language exam if she didn't make so many spelling errors.

I think it might be just the perspective on the gun's barrel devouring itself alive. Also a wiki somewhere claims that the elf was hit by a truck, so it's possible that his inexplicable crimes met a brutal and equally inexplicable justice.

The point of the elf with a gun character is that he is never explained, stopped or punished. He represents the absurd and arbitrary malice Steve Gerber felt was at the heart of the universe.

Nick Spencer was one of the few writers that could have possibly put a damper on my excitement about Slott leaving the book, I wonder who Marvel will pick next to make me think, "well guess it's gonna be another few years before I care about Spider-Man."

I didn't realize Drip Mnarsky had written more Spider-Man other than Spectacular a few years ago, but I found a couple of weeks ago about the Life Story mini. And that was a rollercoaster through Spidey's whole continuity, ending on a great note, on the whole being too heavy for a funny panels thread but anyway, my point is that I'd read more Spidey by Mr Drip Mnarsky. Anyway, here's some panels of an amusing scene in Peter Parker - The Spectacular Spider-Man #301 where Spidey goes back in time and chats with his younger self: That nonchalant answer to "do we ever get our act together" is just Saoshyant fucked around with this message at 14:46 on Mar 10, 2021 |

I also enjoy that probably the first girl to sneak out of Pete's bedroom in the middle of the night... and it's his (fully adult because time travel) little sister. Seems very on brand for Parker to have no good way to explain that that isn't humiliating.
