I can only guess a lot of it is from working in fields and hay baling and poo poo when I was young, and I just got used to it. I'm also the guy in long sleeves if I'm out in the sun, but thats at least a UV shirt 90% of the time. Edit: I did turn a pair of 501s into some jorts recently though.

Pantschat: I have a few pairs of these that are nice for summer. Lightweight and breezy. Don’t pay full price though - they regularly have sitewide sales where you can get a decent chunk off.

Once you know the size/measurement by brand you’re pretty good to go. Suits and what not you still get fit for but honestly never had an issue with dress shirts or any pants.

Alright for once I went ahead and just skipped 20 pages because I went camping on thursday and was way behind on the thread. Hey guys, what's up? I went camping! Did Timby get out of the hospital yet? what did the thread think of Biden's coronavirus speech? How is Ross doing on Deep Space 9? Did anyone do a sous vide this weekend? Let me tell you how I'm doing: camping was real good, although cold at night, our spot was the best one in the park by a mile, extra large for no particular reason plus a creek in the back, and only like five other spots were taken on thursday night. We went for a couple of nice hikes, and I heard owls. Then on friday night my wife spilled her coffee all over my work laptop so tomorrow instead of working I get to deal with my company's IT dept. I am hoping they can just swap my drive into another laptop so I don't have to reinstall and configure my environment which takes a full day.
