isn't woolie's day job being a professional online guy? you'd think the income model that all his friend and peers use would be a no-brainer

You need to ask permission for nintendo games, and I don't think woolie's the type to go through the legal-bruhaha to do it for youtube.

Even after getting permission, going through channels, and even working with Nintendo at a sanctioned event and getting the content pre-approved, they will still kill your channel.

There are a lot of basic business things that SBFP/CSB fails to do, but the biggest one that confuses the hell out of me is how Woolie can be a professional media guy for 10+ years and still have constant, semi-regular audio problems.

Probably the day I utterly gave up on them ever getting their act together was when someone went "Hey Pat, you guys have mentioned losing entire days of work on multiple occasions because you don't do a sound check before starting your day," and Pat and Woolie both went "Dude, it takes 15 minutes to do a sound check, that turns a 3-hour session into a 3:15 session, I don't want to do that."

Let's not forget that less than two weeks ago Pat realized his HD webcam that he has had for two years had not been running in HD mode.

Look you can put that 15 minute mic check in the middle of the stream as a 20 minute troubleshooting/fiddling with everything session, and then it's content!

That is like 100% why I can't watch Pat stream live. He was going to be playing some game really I wanted to see and it took him over 2 hours to even load the game.

I started listening to Critical Role recently, and despite it being one of the biggest podcasts/streams ever, the audio for the first 100 or so episodes is of inexcusably poor quality.

Speaking of desync issues, I’ve never been able to make it through the whole omnikron playthrough without skipping a whole bunch because of the issues in the middle. Like, “it’s desynced but why bother to fix it, it’s loving omnikron” is kinda funny, but a couple videos in the lp are completely unwatchable.

Pat is going to a sorry cop, probably try to shoot that kid, he'll fall in love with Kim and try to do right by him.

Woolie is going to bumble into Kingdom of Conscious or Fascism from his inability to back down. He'll hate Kim because kim doesn't think in the odd angles woolie does.

If a character keeps saying human being in a game, I'm gonna take every option to knock them upside the head, feels pretty good.

I was a pretty nice Raphael Ambrosius Cousteau to like 90% of people though, I did enjoy blowing the cover on Measurehead's inability to get it up too, but he's a weirdo race realist or whatever, so he had it coming too anyway.

I enjoyed the heck out of the stock talk, because it's one of the rare recent segments when Pat was happy to call Woolie on his insane bullshit and vice versa. Honestly Woolie is the reason I've fallen off of 90% of the podcast, because it feels like 75% of it is either long, disorganized monologues where he lectures Pat and/or the audience about something he doesn't understand, and the rest is him digging in and stubbornly trying to twist "No Woolie, the sky is not green and purple" into "Yes it is, you guys are just arguing in bad faith and you know it, ya know?"

Woolie's just too willing to internalize the first things he gets told about something and then never let go in the face of further evidence, a lot of the time.

I do kind of feel Woolie on something he aired recently - being basically constantly on voice/camera means people are constantly fact checking you on those dumb things you got told once long ago, never questioned, and decide to mention off hand.

I can't imagine chat is always delicate with it, so it probably can feel adversarial in a way that makes someone like Woolie feel a bit defensive.
