So yeah that was unpleasant to look at for a dude with epilepsy. Not seizure inducing or anything, but when not prepared for it, my brain sent off a lot of "fuuuuck this poo poo panic mode engaged" signals all of a sudden. Please spoiler that kind of flashing colors with lots of moving parts in the future.

It's near-impossible to see but the cleaver is at just the right angle that it's hitting the edge of his knuckles with the side of the blade. Still impressive though.
