I support putting back the sexpert thing because it needs a few extra seconds to make skipping ahead 60 seconds line up correctly (based on the current length of the song anyway)

Montaigne is great. If you haven't heard her album, Complex, I highly recommend it:

She's also appeared as a guest on Dragon Friends, a D&D comedy podcast that some TAZ people might like (thread here):

She also did a great feature with Aussie comedy trio "Aunty Donna"

Their comedy stylings are in the ballpark over from Mbmbam but they have some great bits

I don't listen to Wonderful, but I have to imagine that it and MBMBaM haven't talked about autofellatio as much combined as any given BST episode.

The song is so Persona 4, no wonder at least Griffin loved it.

Also, excellent Money Zone this week!

I gotta be honest, I was hoping that "new theme song next week" was just going to become a running gag like "Munch Squad is being sunsetted"

I like the new theme song, and I liked they changed the disclaimer. Sad that they're apparently going to put it back.

Secretly force socialism, communism and imperialism types of government onto the people of the United States of America.

I'm getting jokerfied as munch squad starts looping back to extremely good, as it was this week.

Their resounding mockery of Julio Hernandez or whatever's decision to open up a burger front in the chicken war, and then turning on a dime when they learned he'd worked at Burger King for 26 years makes me wonder if any of these PR managers and fast food CEOs have an email forward chain of munch squad bits with each other.

Solid episode

Good fun, nice to hear a familiar accent
:australia:

Theme song is just fine and I'm sure it will grow on me, and it feels more appropriate to the new era of podcast fame/royalty they are getting into (graphic novels, advice books etc)

My only bug bear is my brain wants it to be Mbmbam them first, like it starts to sing the next line (which doesn't exist as) "life's better with uuussss," and hearing the boys pipe in with a sort of "I'm Travis" , "I'm Justin" ,"I'm Griffin"

So aside from my very specific brain worms , hell yeah, cheats to a good ep

It's weird to have a song that is clearly about a friendship blossoming into a crushy teen relationship as a theme song for three brothers in their mid to late 30s, but whatever I guess.

Exactly. Though the previous cancelled theme didn't really fit either I guess. But how can anyone compete with the rugrats theme? That was perfection.

a theme song written by a queer zoomer woman about friendship blossoming into a crushy teen relationship is almost completely on brand for their demographic though

Bean Dad song was not good. I used to hate it and usually skipped it, eventually it was so drilled into my head it became tolerable but if it wasnt associated with the Brothers it's never a song i'd listen to outside of a snippet for the intro.

Also while im not a massive fan of the new song the outro works way better than the intro and i'd be happy if that little clip was the theme. The shorter Chorus makes a good theme song basically.

This is correct, it was absolutely the best intro song, but it was an even better outro song, like here at the end of the mini-arc: https://maximumfun.org/episodes/adventure-zone/adventure-zone-amnesty-episode-5 (outro starts at 1:17:17)
