I'm happy when video makers find their voice, usually around the time they get better microphones. Civvie did a remake of his Blood 2 video and the sound quality and delivery of his script is night and day.

Really the biggest blessing was that the original video had some crazy bad audio balance, Civvie was really quiet and the video was really loud or the other way around, it's been a bit.

And then Andy Serkis screams in mortal terror as his head is slowly devoured by the distended maw of a 12 foot long leech.

The second I heard the word “commune” I knew there was gonna be some creepy poo poo involved but I was not prepared for the cat-killing. These people seem like they’re about an inch away from building a wicker man, although with them also being covid-deniers they might not even have to go to that trouble to kill their visitors.

Alright sure Justice League was a movie but you know what's also a movie but different? Civil War! This reminds me that I went to a Metallica concert back in 06, when they were touring with Bullet For My Valentine and Trivium. It was the first, and the worst, concert experience I ever had. St. Anger was the first whole album from them that I listened to and even then I thought that it sounded awful. I'm so glad that the friend I borrowed it from immediately lent me his copy of And Justice For All which was a real palate cleanser.

By the time St. Anger came out I was already hoarding mp3s (Ulrich's best efforts and all) and not really buying CDs much unless they were from my top favorite bands. But I remember still going to used-CD stores and seeing -piles- of that album around. It was that classic work that sold big on hype, most people discovered they could not listen to twice, and dumped somewhere for a buck. And my big time Metallica-fan friends had already gotten disappointed by Load, so it was a bit of a long one-two punch for them. "Yuck, they sound so trendy and stuff, I wish they were raw and heavy again! -intermission- Ooof, they sound like rough crap now! I'm not 15 anymore!"
